Bass Clarinet

The bass clarinet is a low-pitched woodwind instrument that uses a single reed attached to a chambered mouthpiece to create sound. Air blown into the mouthpiece flows across the reed causing it to vibrate and produce the bass clarinet's distinctive warm and expressive tone that makes it easy to pick out from among the other instruments.
