Soprano saxophones can be straight or curved like their bigger cousins alto, tenor, baritone, et al. Most of our sopranos are straight.
Soprano and tenor saxophones are pitched in Bb (B flat), while alto and baritone saxophones are pitched in Eb (E flat). Saxophones are known as transposing instruments because they do not play in concert pitch.
